During winter holidays the weather was bitter frosty. Each day the streets were covered with glazed frost. Every morning Zoo paths were sanded as we knew that children would as usual come to the Zoo during winter holidays!

 While walking in the Zoo park you will notice a lot of interesting.

Every year its territory is decorated with new beautiful sights, in winter twilights paths are enlightened with new beautiful lampstands.

We wish you to spend nice time in the Zoo.

In culture of some peoples of China there are ancient legends of White Tiger. Those legends are about a poor noble lumberman and a noble white tiger Bay-Hu, sovereign of all tigers.

Kharkiv Zoo announces the Campaign “Let’s Save the Trees on New Year’s Day”!
New Year will come soon. Again there will appear pile of sawn-off confer trees, the forests will suffer new waste areas. When will this cutting down of young conifer trees stop?

3 December, 2009 is International Day of Disabled People. On this day Kharkiv Zoo provides free entrance for disabled people under the condition of producing necessary documents.
