Conservational Education Event “Chimp and His Company” in Kharkov Zoo

Pongid species include two orangutang species, two gorilla species, two chimpanzee species and ten gibbon species. Gibbons and orangutangs live in South-Eastern Asia, chimps and gorillas live in Equatorial Africa. In Kharkov Zoo only chimps are kept. There have never been any other pongid species in Kharkov Zoo.
